A tall planter lifts your planting closer to eye level, which makes it a good way to frame a doorway, line a path or add height to a patio. Every tall planter we make is welded from 3mm steel at our workshop in Nantwich, Cheshire, and comes with a 5-year warranty.
Round and Square Tall Planters
Our tall round planters can be made from 300mm to 2000mm across and from 200mm to 1200mm high. Our tall square planters start at 400mm wide and go up to 1200mm high, or up to 2000mm high in mild steel. Larger square planters include stiffeners and braces for strength.
Tall Rectangular and Narrow Planters
Need something long and narrow? Our trough planters can be made up to 1200mm high and from just 200mm wide, so they work well along a wall, a fence or a boundary.

Filling a Tall Planter
Tall planters get heavy once they’re full of damp compost, so put yours in position before you fill it. You can use fillers in the bottom to save compost and weight. Our guide on how to fill a large planter and our compost calculator can help.
