Metal Edging FAQs
When deciding on the thickness of metal edging to use, it is important to consider the specific requirements of your project. We offer two different thicknesses 3mm and 6mm. Our 3mm edging offers a lighter, cheaper, more flexible option that makes it easier if you have a lot of curves to form or tighter curves that may be hard to achieve with thicker edging.
On the other hand, our 6mm edging offers a more heavy-duty and durable option, making it easier to form straight lines and more suitable for high-traffic areas that need to withstand garden machinery and vehicles.
As a general guide, we recommended to bury half of the edging underground to provide adequate stability. For lawn edging, in most cases the top of the edging should be in line with the soil level to allow for easy trimming of the grass.
